This May, Warren Doors began a project at Gateway Church of Christ and recently finished up in July. Our job was to complete a building where they could follow their vision; to be “A warm, joyful, diverse community that loves God and Christ, loves and accepts one another and is dedicated to reaching out to bring others to Christ.” This building has an amazing sanctuary, full kitchen, full size basket ball court, coffee bar area, even a kids play area.
All the doors installed by Warren Doors in Gateway Church of Christ were VT Industries paint grade doors and cherry doors, that are finished with AA grade clear veneer. VT Industries has always maintained the highest quality standards set forth by the architectural flush wood door industry – meeting or exceeding industry quality standards. What sets these cherry doors apart and makes them a premium selection is the AA veneer level. Both WMDA and AWS set two aesthetic grades for architectural wood doors; Custom and Premium. Custom, A, is the standard grade intended for high quality work. This grade provides a well-defined degree of control over the workmanship, materials, and installation of a project. Premium grade, AA, is reserved for special projects or featured areas within a project. Premium doors are specified when the highest degree of control is required.
Another defining feature of this project is the access control system throughout the entire facility. With the push of a button, the church is able to lockdown their whole building. This system was created from the combination of ZKTeco access control products and Rosslare card readers. With this integrated system, the church can rest assured that they have a safe space to nurture their mission and vision.
