The Florosa Fire Station was recently erected in Mary Esther, FL. Warren Doors & Access Control was a subcontractor to Lord & Son Construction during this project. Warren Doors & Access Control supplied and installed 58 frames, 19 hollow metal doors from Steelcraft, and 39 Plastic Laminated Solid Wood doors from VT Industries.
The hardware on this project was supplied through Allegion. This includes Von Duprin exit devices, Schlage locks, Zero gasketing, LCN closers, and Ives hinges.
Because it’s a Fire Station and it needs to be secured yet highly functioning for leaving on emergency calls, some of the closers are electrified with closer holders & motion sensors for safe zone detection. These 4414ME Sentronic® Closers have an internal motion sensor that prevents the door from closing if movement is detected within a sensing field that is adjustable to user specifications.
