Escambia County Correctional Facility

Warren Doors & Access Control worked as a subcontractor to supply material and help build the new Escambia County Correctional facility on North Pace Boulevard. Warren Doors installed doors and hardware for all the common areas of this four-level project. This large job consisted of 278 openings that all received hollow metal doors, including some hurricane rated exterior doors. This newly completed project will complement future commercial offices and homes in the redevelopment area in Midtown Pensacola. The design incorporates energy-efficient and sustainable elements throughout.

Warren Doors uses Steelcraft for all of its hollow metal door and frame needs. Steelcraft doors and frames are designed for institutional, commercial, and industrial applications. The resilience of hollow metal doors made them the clear option for a correctional institution. Steel lasts longer, requires fewer repairs, and is sturdier than other products. It outperforms wood, aluminum, and fiberglass in security, fire ratings, sound reduction, vandal resistance, and other demanding environments.

All of the openings Warren Doors installed were located in the common areas of the correctional facility. On these doors we used hardware from trusted brands: Stanley, BEST, Precision, Burns, LCN, and NGP. In addition to the common area openings, Warren Doors also provided closers, door sweeps, thresholds, smoke seals, and passage sets for some of the detention openings. Warren Doors thanks the project team for another successful project to benefit our community.
