Kaba Mas X-0 Series

Kaba Mas X-0 high security locks are the trusted choice for securing the US government’s most sensitive spaces and materials. Originally introduced in 1992 as the only lock to meet the requirements of Federal Specification FF-L-2740, today’s high security lock represents the latest edition to this secure tradition. The X-10 was developed as a direct result of the latest revision to federal specification FF-L-2740 (now Revision “B”). The X-10 is approved by the GSA for use on approved Class 5 and Class 6 Filing Cabinets and Class 5 Security Vault Doors. The Kaba Mas X-10 was designed with similar operating features and functions of its predecessor, the X-09 and uses the same proprietary self-powered technology  that comes standard with a backlit LCD display.

Also available are the CDX-10 high-security pedestrian door deadbolt, consisting of an X-10 mounted on a deadbolt base plate. The CDX-10 was approved by GSA to meet requirements of Federal Specification FF-L-2890B, Type VI. The Kaba Mas DKX-10 high-security pedestrian exit device meets the General Services Administration (GSA) requirements of Federal Specification FF-L-2890B, Type III.

Kaba Mas X-10 High Security Combination Lock

The X-10 was developed as a result of the latest revision to Federal Specification FF-L-2740 (now revision “B”). This revision, which is the U.S. Government’s highest security standard for combination locks used to protect Classified and National Security Information, now specifies two styles. Style 1 requires the lock to be self-powered. The X-10 is the only Style 1 combination lock and is approved for use on all GSA Approved Security Containers and Vault Doors. The X-10 is also approved for use on Federal

Specification FF-L-2890B locks installed on pedestrian doors to Secure Rooms and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).

The X-10 is self-powered, using green “PowerStar” Technology. Simply rotate the dial to power up the lock and enter the combination. Intuitive, visual controls guide the operator through programming and audit features. The X-10 provides all the benefits of high-security electromechanical locking system, independent of batteries or outside power sources.
