Customers doing renovations, tenant work, and fast tract projects can rely on a complete inventory of items and the most dependable delivery in the industry. They offer 3 neutral colors to complement any restroom design. Panels and doors have a thickness of 7/8” and pilasters are 1-1/4” thick.
  • Sunburst (Special Order Series): Atlanta Sunbelt Products special order series compartments set the architectural standard by offering unlimited color flexibility combined with the finest quality product line. Special order series compartments are the ideal solution for all types of public facilities. Several hundred colors and patterns are available enabling architects and designers the ability to use durable plastic laminates without compromising color designs. Panels and doors are a full 1 inch thick and pilasters are 1-1/4” thick. Standard hardware is chrome plated institutional quality.
  • Eclipse (Phenolic Core Components): Phenolic material is a solid plastic material made of laminate color sheets thermally fused to a phenolic core. The color sheets are fused, under heat and pressure, to the core to form a solid sheet. Solid core products are ideal for areas that require extreme durability. Virtually unbreakable and waterproof, they can be used in wet areas or areas that require hose down cleaning. Abusive areas can rely on the strength of the core to eliminate breakage. Unlike other solid plastic materials, phenolic core color selection is unlimited.
  • Nova (HDPE Solid Plastic): Solid Plastic HDPE is a thermally formed sheet plastic with solid color throughout the entire core. Solid plastic products are ideal for areas that require water resistance and extreme durability. Virtually unbreakable and waterproof, they can be used in wet areas or areas requiring hose down cleaning. NOVA Series solid plastic material is available in 16 designer colors to complement any commercial restroom. Areas that require durability against vandalism, can rely on the color throughout and the unbreakable properties of solid plastic to provide years of trouble free operation.

Construction Styles

  • Sun Set (Overhead Braced):
    • This type compartment is recommended for all alcove installations.
    • Check location of overhead light fixtures, especially in rooms with 7’6″ ceiling heights because pilasters are 6′ 10″ high and can clash with suspended light fixtures.
    • This is the most rugged style partition and is recommended for areas where rough treatment may be expected.
    • Anti-grip type headrail is now standard on all partitions with overhead braces.
  • Sun Up (Ceiling Hung):
    • Ceiling heights should either be 7’6″ or 8’0″ to avoid non standard penalties in pricing.
    • Ceiling attached light fixtures should be located so that they do not conflict with partition pilasters.
    • Ceiling hung compartments are ideally installed wherever easy floor maintenance is a major consideration.
    • Be sure the supporting structural members are specified under the miscellaneous metal section. Structural supports are to be furnished, drilled, installed and hanging rods are to be installed by others.
  • Sun Down (Floor Mounted):
    • Floor drains should be located so that they do not conflict with pilasters.
    • Blocking should be located 17″ and 65″ above the finished floor level where the dividing panels attach to the chase wall. Pilaster blocking should be located at the same heights and at specified compartment depth (usually this depth is 57″ or 61.5″ to outside of pilaster).
    • Avoid specifying floor mounted compartment in alcove installations.
  • Sun Shine (Floor to Ceiling Supported):
    • Blocking in ceiling or structural members by others.
    • Ceiling heights should either be 7’6″ or 8’0″ to avoid non standard penalties in pricing.
    • Ceiling attached light fixtures should be located so that they do not conflict with partition pilasters.
    • This is a very rugged style partition and is recommended for areas where rough treatment may be expected.
    • Sun Set style pilaster mounting is used at floor and ceiling.
